The Maine Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) provides assistance in a variety of government contracting technical assistance services to Maine-based businesses of all sizes. If your business offers a product or service that you believe local, state or federal government purchasers or government prime contractors would be interested in Maine PTAC can help you in your government marketing efforts. Among the services we offer are: one-on-one counseling, training workshops, and networking opportunities; all designed to help prepare businesses to successfully compete for government market opportunities.
We can assist you with registrations, market research, small business certifications, understanding the solicitation process and contract requirements. We will spend as much or as little time working with you as you require. The majority of our services are provided at no cost to our clients, however a fee may be charged for certain special workshops and networking events to help defray the costs incurred in providing those services.
